Jio has introduced a new Rs 399 postpaid tariff for Jio Plus in India. It provides an add-on for up to three family members for Rs 99 each, for a total of Rs 696 for a family of four. The new plan provides the user with unlimited calling, unlimited SMS, 75GB of data, and additional benefits. Jio already offers a Rs 399 postpaid plan with varying perks. The telecommunications provider has also introduced a premium Jio Plus Rs 699 plan with added OTT benefits for its customers. Let’s examine every aspect of the newly introduced Jio Postpaid Plus plans.
Notably, Jio previously offered a Rs 399 postpaid plan, but the new one is a family plan that allows the user to add up to three family members for Rs 99 each after the trial period. As specified, the plan totals Rs 696 per month for a family of four, with each additional SIM receiving 5GB of data per month. The principal SIM holder is provided with 75GB of data. Each of the four connections will have unlimited calling and SMS benefits. It is referred to as the Jio Plus Postpaid plan.
In contrast, the old Jio Plus Rs 399 postpaid plan does not provide customers with any additional family connections. Users receive unlimited calling and 100 daily SMS. In addition, it includes 75GB of data and charges Rs 10 per GB for additional data after 75GB. Additionally, this plan provides users with complimentary Netflix Mobile and Amazon Prime subscriptions.
In addition to the Rs 399 plan, Jio has also introduced a premium plan for Rs 699. After the trial period, this plan offers customers up to three additional SIMs for Rs 99 per SIM. While calling and SMS benefits remain the same, users receive 100GB of monthly data. Jio also offers complimentary Amazon Prime and Netflix subscriptions with this plan.
Jio will charge Rs 99 for a SIM card if you are a new subscriber during activation. The security deposits for the Rs 399 and Rs 699 are Rs 500 and Rs 875, respectively. However, the security deposit is waived for Jio Fiber customers, corporate employees, existing non-Jio postpaid customers, credit card customers, and those with an excellent credit score.
