Teen hailed for egging Australian Senator for Islamophobic remarks post New Zealand shooting

After the horrific terror attack in two mosques of Christchurch, a teenager egged the Australian Senator Fraser Anning, who made Islamophobic remarks post the shooting. The teenager is being hailed by netizens for egging the senator.

On Saturday, the incident took place in Melbourne when Senator Anning was addressing a press conference. Suddenly, a teenager who is identified as Will Connolly smacked on the back of the senator’s head with an egg. The video of this incident has been going viral on social media since then.

After being egged, the livid senator violently snacked the teen assailant back which was captured in the video. Soon, the supporters of Anning violently attacked the boy and beat him up before handing him to the police.

Netizens have widely criticized the attack by the senator and his supporters who had held him in a way that looks like the boy had been choke held on the floor till the cops arrived.

The cops will be looking at the matter in its entirety and investigating the role of not just the teen but also Anning said the Victorian police.

Anning blamed Muslims immigrating to New Zealand as the reason for the terror attack which undoubtedly caused him a widespread criticism. People appreciated the courage of the boy and many also called him the #eggboy to popularise him significantly.
