NIFT Cut-off 2024: Admission process, course-wise BDesign cut-offs at NIFT campuses

NIFT Cut-off 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the final results for admission to undergraduate design courses at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT 2024).

A separate cut-off will be announced for each NIFT campus for admission to BDesign and BA Fashion Technology courses.

On its official website, nift.ac.in, the institute will announce the NIFT BDes counselling schedule in the third week of May.

Following the written and situation test, candidates must choose their courses and colleges in order of preference.

Admission to UG design programmes requires the General Ability Test (GAT), Creative Ability Test (CAT), and Situation Test. For BFTech, candidates must pass the General Ability Test (GAT).

Counseling and selection at NIFT

This week, the institute will announce the mode, dates, and details of the selection process through counselling on its official website.

Seat allocation for NIFT will take place in multiple rounds. The choice made by candidates before seat allocation will be considered final.

“Domicile seats will be merged with respective category seats after at least two rounds of seat allocation. Unfilled OBC (NCL) and EWS seats will be merged with Open Category seats after at atleast two rounds of seat allocation. PWD Seats will be merged with unfilled respective categories after PWD seat allocation,” the institute informed.

Spot admission rounds will be conducted for eligible candidates with valid CMRs who have not been allotted seats after all regular rounds.
