NIOS Exam Centre Change 2026: Rajasthan District-Wise List

NIOS Exam Centre Change 2026: National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has made certain changes in the examination centers for certain secondary (class 10) and senior secondary (class 12) students from Rajasthan before the 2026 Panchayati Raj election in the state. The new center details have been provided for certain examination dates starting from October 23 to November 6, as mentioned in the official notification by NIOS Regional Center, Jaipur, dated October 17, 2026.

It is advised to the students that they must ensure the new center before heading to take their exams.

NIOS Exam Center Change 2026: District Wise List

This includes Dausa, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Pali and Sikar with a separate center change in Virat Nagar, Jaipur district.

1. Jodhpur

Jodhpur has the highest number of centre changes in the notification. The revised arrangements are as follows:

• Kiramsariya Khurd: Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Tinwari, for October 28, 29 and 31.
• Bhalu Kalla: Government Upper Primary School, Nai Kumharon Ki Dhani, Bhalu Udai Nagar, for October 24.
• Dugar Balesar: Government Primary School, Bhato Ki Dhani, Dugar, Balesar, for October 24.
• Anawana, Baori: Government Primary School, Bhariyo and Sarno Ki Dhani, Anawana, for October 28, 29 and 31.
• Ghewra: Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Tinwari, for October 28, 29 and 31.
• Malkosni, Bilara: Government Primary School, Malkosni, Bilara, for October 24, 28, 29 and 31.
• Solankiya Tala: GPS Dhirani Meghwalo Ki Dhani, Solankiya Tala, Shergarh, for October 24.
• Chamu: PM SHRI Government Senior Secondary School, Godaro Ka Bera, Block Tinwari, for October 24.

2. Pali

Candidates originally allotted Government Senior Secondary School, Balana, will appear at Government Upper Primary School, Gudia, Balana, on October 24, 2026.

3. Nagaur

Two examination centres have been revised:

• Deu: Government Upper Primary School, Meghwalon Ki Dhani, Deu, on October 23 and 24.
• Jhintiyan: Government Primary School, Suriyas Fanta, on October 28 and 31.

4. Sikar

Both revised centres in Sikar apply to examinations scheduled for November 2, 4, 5 and 6.

• Baya: PM SHRI Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Baya.
• Madha-Madani: Seth Chhotelal Methee Government Girls Upper Primary School, Mandha Madani.

5. Jaipur

The notification lists two changes within Jaipur district:

• Bhainslana: Mahatma Gandhi Government School, Bhainslana, Kishangarh-Renwal, for October 24.
• Saiwad, Shahpura: Baba Shree Narayan Das Government Senior Secondary School, Chimnapura, Shahpura, for October 28, 29 and 31.

6. Virat Nagar, Jaipur district

Candidates allotted Government Senior Secondary School, Dani-Gaiskan, NH-48, Virat Nagar, will appear at Shri Kalyan Singh Government Senior Secondary School, Shahpura, on November 2, 4, 5 and 6.

7. Dausa

Candidates allotted Government Senior Secondary School, Paota, will instead appear at Government Primary School, Langaripura, Paota, on October 28, 29 and 31.

How To Check The Revised Regional Centre?

1. Visit the official NIOS Regional Centre Jaipur website.

2. Go to the latest updates or notifications section.

3. Look for “Details of Change of Examination Centres Due to Panchayat Raj Elections Rajasthan for October November 2026 Theory Exams.”

4. Open the official PDF and find the district and original examination centre printed on your hall ticket.

5. Check the replacement venue and the exact date applicable to your examination.

Why Has NIOS Changed the Examination Centres?

These changes have been made due to the upcoming Panchayati Raj elections in Rajasthan. Elections may have an impact on the availability of school buildings and other places, which would require the exams to be held at some other place.

These arrangements are meant to help in conducting the exams at some other center. Candidates must understand that their initial hall ticket venue cannot be considered valid on the dates of the notification.

Has NIOS Exam Schedule October-November 2026 Been Changed?

This is related to changes in the exam centers on certain dates only. This does not mean that there has been any change in the schedule of the exam itself.

Candidates are advised to keep preparing for the exams as per the scheduled dates.
