NMAT 2025 registration opens August 1: Check steps to apply

NMAT 2025 registration: Students who want to join top MBA colleges in India and abroad can now get ready, as the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) is starting the registration for NMAT 2025 on Friday, August 1, 2025.

Candidates who wish to apply for the Narsee Monjee Management Aptitude Test can go to the official site mba.com/exams/nmat and fill out their form online. The registration process will be fully digital and students will need to enter their basic details, choose the test dates, and pay the required fee.

NMAT is a very popular entrance exam for those who want to do MBA or management courses. It helps students get admission into 58 top colleges across India and is also accepted in other countries like South Africa, Philippines, Nigeria, Morocco, and Hungary.

Famous institutes like the Indian School of Business (ISB), NMIMS, K J Somaiya, T.A. Pai Institute, Flame University, and many more use NMAT scores to give seats in their courses. Some law universities like Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law also use these scores for MBA admission.

Test Centres

GMAC has worked to make things easy for students by opening 86 test centres in 79 cities across India. This helps students find an exam location closer to their home, so they don’t have to travel far. The exam pattern is also quite simple and fair. There are 108 questions, and students get 120 minutes to finish the test.

Exam Pattern

The paper is divided into three parts Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning and all three are given the same weightage. One good thing is that there is no negative marking, so students don’t lose marks for wrong answers.

How many Attempts can you give?

Students can take the NMAT exam up to three times. That means if someone is not happy with their first score, they can try again and improve it. They also get to see their unofficial score as soon as they finish the exam, and the final scorecard will be available within 48 hours.
