November 30 Deadlines: KYC, UPS Switch and Life Certificate All Due Together

Follow Newsd On

November 30 Deadlines: As November 30 gets close, many people need to finish three important money tasks. These tasks affect bank users, central government workers, and pensioners. Anyone who ignores these rules may face blocked accounts, stuck pension money, or trouble with retirement plans.

PNB Customers Must Finish KYC Update

Punjab National Bank has warned people again that they must finish their KYC update soon. The bank says this is the last reminder for anyone whose KYC became due on or before September 30, 2025. They must finish the update by November 30 or their bank account may face limits.

KYC helps banks know who their customers are and keeps people safe from fraud. When a person does not update their KYC, the bank may freeze the account for safety. This can stop withdrawals, online payments, transfers, and other simple things. PNB is telling everyone to finish the update early, not at the last moment, because this job is one of the biggest yearly rules for bank account holders.

PNB allows customers to update KYC details through multiple convenient channels:

  • PNB ONE mobile app
  • Internet banking
  • Email or SMS
  • WhatsApp banking
  • Physical visit to the nearest branch

Deadline for Government Workers to Shift From NPS to UPS

The second deadline is for central government employees who want to move from the National Pension System to the new Unified Pension Scheme. The Ministry of Finance first set the last date as June 30. Later they moved it to September 30, and now they have given a final date of November 30, 2025.

The switch is optional but very important because it can change a person’s future income after retirement. The UPS gives a fixed benefit, so many workers want to study their options.

Anyone who wants to switch must apply through their own office or online. If they do not apply before November 30, they will stay in the NPS by default.

Life Certificate Submission for Pensioners

The third deadline is for pensioners. They must send their life certificate before November 30. If they miss the date, their pension will stop for some time. But once they submit the certificate, the pension starts again and all pending money is paid. Because online and doorstep options are easy now, pensioners are told to finish this job early.

To make the process easier, the government and various banks offer multiple submission modes:

  • Jeevan Pramaan digital life certificate (biometric authentication)
  • Bank branch submission
  • Doorstep banking for senior citizens
  • Online portals and mobile apps
