NTA reopens online registration process for JEE Main 2020 exam, apply till this date; Check here

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency, NTA, has reopened the online registration for the candidates who want to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination 2020 (JEE Main 2020) on Tuesday, May 19.

After receiving a request from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, NTA has opened the official website for the online application process for JEE Main 2020 exam.

The IIT-JEE (Main) exam will be conducted on July 18, 20, 21, 22, and 23. The JEE Advanced Exam will be held on August 23, 2020.

The Union HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the website is reopened for those students who have now dropped the idea to go abroad for higher studies, they can now pursue the same in India.

“I have advised @DG_NTA to give one more opportunity to students to submit new/complete online application form for JEE (Main) 2020. Hurry! Forms available till 24th May,” HRD minister tweeted.

In view of the various Indian students who all have decided to join colleges abroad, however, now they are keen to pursue their higher studies in the country due to the changed plus uncertain circumstances arising because of Covid-19 and would thus like to take the JEE (Main) 2020. NTA has decided to give one last opportunity.

Moreover, this is also viable to other students who failed to complete the registration process or submit an online application form for JEE (Main) 2020 due to one reason or another.

Candidates can register for the exam via official JEE (Main) website – jeemain.nta.nic.in from May 19 to May 24, 2020.

Note: The submission of the online application form will be accepted up to 05:00 PM and submission of fee up to 11:50 PM. The application form fee can be paid online via Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI and PayTM.
