As per Mint, The OnePlus 13 offers a large 6.82-inch BOE X2 2K+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, ensuring an exceptional visual experience. The camera setup includes a triple rear camera system: a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, it has a 32MP front-facing camera.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the OnePlus 13 supports up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. This makes it great for multitasking, gaming, and running heavy apps smoothly. The phone is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance and features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a step up from the optical sensor on its predecessor.

Battery

The OnePlus 13 continues the brand’s focus on powerful batteries, featuring a large 6,000mAh battery, an improvement over previous model. This big battery should last for an entire day with heavy use on a full charge.

The phone also has fast charging capabilities, with 100W wired charging that will quickly recharge the battery. It also supports 50W wireless charging, making it easy to charge while you’re moving around or working at a desk.

OnePlus 13R Features

The OnePlus 13R features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 4,500 nits peak brightness. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of storage, it promises smooth performance for daily use and gaming.

Its camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. While its camera system is slightly less powerful than the OnePlus 13, it still offers impressive performance. The OnePlus 13R is expected to support an ultrasound in-display fingerprint sensor, enhancing security and usability.

New Features

The OnePlus 13 series introduces several exciting features. One notable addition is the “Find My Device” feature, which will let you track your phone even when it’s powered off. This functionality, which has already been seen on devices like Google Pixel and iPhones, works by allowing Bluetooth signals to continue sending location beacons even when the device is turned off.

Another new feature is the “super partition” in OxygenOS 15. This will optimize storage, giving users an extra 5GB of space for apps and files without upgrading to a higher storage model. The feature works by borrowing user storage during major updates, ensuring a smooth system upgrade process.

The camera app has also been enhanced with a macro photography mode, making it easier for users to take detailed close-up shots of things like plants, pets, or small objects.

Design Changes: Flat Display and Frame

Both the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R will feature a flat display and frame design. This change is meant to improve usability and grip, making the phone easier to handle and reducing accidental touches. The design also incorporates a “micro-curve ratio” for a comfortable feel while holding the device.

Pricing

The OnePlus 13 is expected to be priced between ₹53,000 and ₹62,500 for the different variants. The OnePlus 13R is likely to be priced around ₹40,000, making it a more affordable option while still offering high-end features.
