Akshay Kumar is making a comeback to the horror-comedy genre with Priyadarshan-directed Bhooth Bangla. When Arjun Acharya inherits his family’s alleged haunted ancestral mansion in Mangalpur, his plans to host his sister’s wedding descend into a supernatural puzzle of bizarre incidents.
Raakh
Directed by Seema Bhargava, the dark crime thriller Raakh starring Ali Fazal is set in the late 1970s in Delhi. The film begins with the discovery of the bodies of two missing teenagers, which ignites a complicated police investigation to find their killers while delving into criminal psychology, public reaction and the impact on their families.
This fantasy-action drama stars Tamil superstar Suriya in the leading role and is helmed by RJ Balaji. A lawyer who gets possessed by an almighty deity starts a fight against all injustice that affects marginalized communities.
A gripping Malayalam thriller, Dridam follows newly-appointed Sub-Inspector Vijay Radhakrishnan, who anticipates a quiet posting in a town notorious for its extremely low crime rate. When series of terrifying events start occurring, Vijay is pushed into a dangerous investigation, and to his despair, unearths disturbing secrets that put the town’s calm facade at stake.
