Actress Deepika Padukone took to Twitter on Thursday morning to share the first look of her character, Rani Padmini in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus, ‘Padmavati’.
The film stars Deepika as Rani Padmini, while her rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh essays the role of Alauddin Khilji. Shahid Kapoor will be seen as Rawal Ratan Singh in the much-awaited iconic period drama.
The film is slated to hit the theaters on 1 December and lead character’s look has been revealed today. Deepika’s transformation as Rani Padmini is indeed winning hearts and now fans are eagerly waiting for Ranveer and Shahid’s look.
On Wednesday, the logo of ‘Padmavati’ was revealed on Twitter and Instagram.
