Just a day after Patanjali Ayurved’s messaging app Kimbho’s beta trial version was launched, it went missing from the Google Play Store. The desi messaging app was known for coming as a competitor for WhatsApp in the Indian market. The Baba Ramdev-led firm Patanjali claimed that this is a conspiracy by multinational companies against a Swadeshi firm and assured of bringing it back soon.

According to Tijarawala, Google removed the ‘Kimbho’ app trial version without citing any reason and there is no response from Google when asked about the reason. Patanjali has sent an email asking for the reason behind removing the app from the Play Store, but no reply has been received so far from Google.

The app is scheduled to be launched on August 27 by the FMCG firm after fixing the shortcomings. Earlier it was released on May 31, but Patanjali had to pull it down after the release saying that it was released for one day trial only.
