PM Kisan 24th Instalment: Farmers waiting for the next payment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme have a new date to note. The 24th instalment is scheduled to be released on Friday, October 30, 2026. Eligible farmers in Uttar Pradesh and other states are set to receive Rs 2,000 directly in their bank accounts. The date was announced through the scheme’s official social media account on October 23 and is also listed on the government’s event portal.

PM-KISAN 24th Instalment: Date And Amount

Under PM-KISAN, eligible landholding farmer families receive Rs 6,000 each year. The government sends this amount in three instalments of Rs 2,000 through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The money goes straight into the beneficiary’s bank account.

The previous, or 23rd, instalment was released on June 20, 2026. The upcoming payment is scheduled for October 30. The government event listing mentions a transfer to around 9.34 crore PM-KISAN beneficiaries.

Who May Face Delays in Getting Rs 2,000?

• Complete e-KYC: Electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) verification is compulsory for PM-KISAN beneficiaries. Farmers who haven’t completed it should finish the process through the official portal or an approved service centre.
• Check land seeding: Land records must be verified and linked with the beneficiary’s details on the PM-KISAN portal. If the status is pending, farmers should contact their local agriculture department for help.
• Verify Aadhaar and bank details: The bank account must meet the scheme’s Aadhaar-linking requirements. Incorrect details or incomplete linking may stop the payment from being processed.

• Visit pmkisan.gov.in.
• Open the ‘Know Your Status’ option.
• Enter the required registration details and captcha, if asked.
• Complete OTP verification if prompted.
• Check the beneficiary details and review the e-KYC, land-seeding and payment status.
• If any detail is missing or incorrect, contact the relevant department or an approved service centre to get it corrected.
