Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s younger brother Prahlad Modi’s wife passed away on Wednesday May 1, in Ahmedabad after prolonged illness. Bhagvati’s funeral ceremony will reportedly take place at about 5 PM.
As per the reports, Bhagvatiben was undergoing treatment for blood pressure, kidney and diabetes since a long time at Ahmedabad civil hospital. She was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad, where she died this morning after suffering a cardiac arrest. She died at the age of 55 years.
Her body taken from Ahmedabad Civil Hospital to her residence for last rites. She will be cremated in the evening at the Thaltej crematorium on Ahemdabad’s SG Highway.
Prahlad Modi is the head of Gujarat’s Fair Price Shops Owners and Kerosene Licence Holders’ Association. Prahlad Modi is two years younger than PM Narendra Modi. He runs a grocery store in Ahmedabad.
