Paattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) leader Anbumani Ramadoss on Saturday said that the party has decided to contest the by-elections in 20 assembly constituencies next year. He said that in eleven of the 20 assembly constituencies, PMK will be the deciding factor.

He requested his party workers to use social media to propagate the party’s views and convert the people’s trust to votes.

“The ruling AIADMK government will be removed after the byelections. We did not contest in the byelections since 2010. Now the election commission is going to conduct byelections for 20 assembly constituencies and we will be the deciding factor in eleven assembly constituencies including Perambur , Poonamalle, Chengalpet, Sholingur, Gudiyatham Ambur , Pappireddipatti, Harur, Nilakottai and Thanjavur ,” said Anbumani.

“We should think about the political outfits who are coming to form an alliance with us. PMK has been fighting for the welfare of the people and the support for Anbumani Ramadoss has been increasing among the public,” Anbumani added.

At the executive committee meeting of the PMK, held at Uppilipalayam near Singanallur on Saturday, PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss said that the new year will bring victory to the PMK.
