Lucknow: Poonam Sinha, the wife of actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha, joined the Samajwadi Party on Tuesday. Sinha is set to contest from Lucknow constituency in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections as the SP-BSP-RLD candidate. The party has also appealed the Congress to not field a candidate in Lucknow.
Shatrughan Sinha had recently joined Congress after quitting from Bharatiya Janata Party after three decades of association.
