A massive fire broke out a camp set up for Kumbh mela near Digambar Akhada in Prayagraj on Monday. The mishap occurred following a cylinder blast at the Digambhar Akhada.
According to the reports, multiple tents were engulfed in the fire. However there was no loss of life or injuries reported into the incident. The Digambar Akhada has been evacuated. The administration has requested people to maintain calm.

Kumbh is the largest human congregation in the world, with over 130 million pilgrims expected to participate in the festival with the belief that taking a dip in the holy water of Ganges River will pave the way for their salvation and would rid them of their sins.
The Kumbh Mela will begin tomorrow and end on March 4.
