The news of Priyanka Chopra’s brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding with Ishita Kumar made it to the headlines since the past few months. They were about to get married over the weekend for which Priyanka especially had flown down to India. But unfortunately the wedding did not happen. Acccording to popular grapevine, the wedding has been cancelled. While some news agencies reported that the wedding had been postponed to another date as Ishita had to undergo an urgent surgery.
According to one of the national dailies, Ishita needs some time to recuperate from her surgery due to which both the families have been looking for another auspicious wedding date.
But now the social media handles of the people involved in the wedding are painting a different picture. As for Ishita, there is no picture of her from the hospital which proves that she has underwent any surgery or is recovering from one. And the most surprising thing here is that Ishita has deleted all the pictures related to her wedding from her Instagram account. The pictures of her roka ceremony are also missing which was attended by Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas.
Furthermore, both Siddharth and Priyanka Chopra have unfollowed Ishita Kumar from their social media handles. Now, people have started commenting on the existing posts of Ishita’s Instagram account and have even asked her questions regarding her wedding. However, the pictures from the bridal shower of Ishita are still visible on her Instagram account. There has been no official announcement from both the parties, so nothing can be said.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be next seen in the upcoming movie The Sky is Pink which has been directed by Shonali Bose. The film also stars Farhaan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead roles. The movie is gearing up for release shortly.
