Ranbaxy’s ex-promoter Shivinder Singh and Sunil Godhwani was arrested by Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of New Delhi Police on Thursday in fraud case, they are accused of cheating of ₹ 700 crore from Religare Enterprises Limited. Religare has accused them of diverting funds and misappropriation.
Both Shivinder Singh and Sunil Godhwani are former promoters of Religare Finvest.
