Rebel Janata Dal (United) leader, Sharad Yadav, on Sunday, said the real JD-U is with him and he will prove it.
He stated that he will attend the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) rally in Patna and called it a ‘Mahagatbandhan’ rally.
“I have been invited in the rally. The mahagatbandhan (grand alliance) is still intact and this is mahagatbandhan rally. Those who are asking to me to skip this rally, I would like to tell them that millions of people had put a stamp on mahagatbandhan. They should resign who have immorally snapped ties with mahagatbandhan. The real JD (U) is with Sharad Yadav. I will prove this”, Yadav said, as quoted by ANI.
On the other hand, another JD (U) leader,KC Tyagi said the rally called by RJD chief, Lalu Yadav, is to cover up the corruption charges.
“This rally is to cover up the corruption allegation levelled against Lalu Yadav and his family. This rally does not have any political agenda or policy,” Tyagi said.
The RJD will hold “BJP Bhagao, Desh Bachao” rally in Patna on Sunday.
Besides Sharad Yadav, Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal CM, Mamata Banerjee, former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and senior Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad are expected to attend the rally.
However, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo, Mayawati has, refused to participate in the rally.
