Reebok Rush Smartwatch Launched: The smartwatch named Rush has been launched by Reebok in the US, focusing on customers with a cheaper budget seeking fitness basics with no premium tag to it.
The launch reflects the growing demand for entry-level smart wearables that deliver practical functionality while keeping costs low, particularly among casual fitness users and first-time smartwatch buyers.
The Reebok Rush smartwatch contains multiple health sensors which enable users to monitor their heart rate continuously and track their blood oxygen levels and measure their steps and calories and analyze their sleep patterns. The system enables users to track their daily activities and their health development through wrist-based monitoring.
The smartwatch also enables users to track more than 80 different sports activities which include running and cycling and yoga and strength training and HIIT workouts. The system uses assisted GPS to track routes and distances through smartphone connections which help reduce hardware expenses while still providing users with location-based workout information.
Reebok selected a 1.39-inch LCD touchscreen which provides 360 × 360 resolution to replace AMOLED display technology from its premium models because they want to keep their prices low. The watch body has a round dial design which the manufacturer built using a plastic case that measures 46 × 46 × 11 mm and weighs approximately 47 grams.
The wearable device meets IP68 standards which protect it from dust and rain and splashes but it cannot be used for swimming activities. The device enables users to select from more than 100 watch faces while choosing different strap options.
