Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is busy promoting his upcoming film “Sachin: A Billion Dreams” these days.
He recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to brief him about the movie, which is based on his life and career and tweeted a picture of his meeting with him.

PM also took to his twitter handle to respond to him.

Prime Minister Modi on Sunday had quoted Sachin Tendulkar as an example for students to compete with oneself and not with others and the cricketer had thanked him for his mention later in a tweet.

His tweet was in response to PM mentioning him in his ‘Mann ki Baat’ broadcast aimed at students, who were preparing for their board exams.

He asked the students to choose ‘anuspardha’ (competing with self) over ‘pratispardha’ (competing with others) as he gave Tendulkar’s example, saying that he kept challenging himself and always got better at his game.
