Shah Rukh Khan’s Old Handwritten Letter: Along with his acting prowess, Shah Rukh Khan is renowned for his wit and sense of humour. His previous handwritten letter has reiterated this. Recently, someone released the lengthy letter—more than six pages—that the actor wrote in college on Reddit.
Despite the letter’s lack of a date, Shah Rukh wrote it during his last year of graduation from Delhi’s Hans Raj College. Shah Rukh talked about his upbringing, his family, his education, and the beginning of his love for performing in the letter. The actor described himself as a “very sport-loving kid” who excelled in cricket, football, and ice hockey.
Shah Rukh remarked in a blog post on his love of performing, “During my school days, I was also introduced to acting. Actually, I’ve always been a master at mimicking and copying other people. Hema Malini was the first, and then I moved on to Dev Anand, Prithvi Raj Kapoor, and Raj Babbar. Regarding Raj Babbar, I just thought back to when I first became genuinely interested in acting. In and around Delhi, my father managed a network of eateries.
I used to frequent their mess frequently and witness all of their plays, he continued. The outstanding director Mr. Ebrahim Alkazi, Raj Babbar, Rohini Hattangadi, Ajit Vachani, Surekha Sikri, etc. were all present at the moment. And back then (I must have been between the ages of 9 and 10), I used to write Urdu couplets and, thanks to my adorable dimples, I attracted a lot of attention from the actors and the director. That simply made me want to emulate them, I suppose. He added that Andher Nagari Chaupat Raja, a school production, gave him his first acting opportunity as Kallu Bania.
A fan commented in response to the post, “SRK was meant for enormous success. Even though he was still in college, you can still see the sparks in this picture. “First pages of SRK’s autobiography leaked!” read one comment. “The wit was always there, and the handwriting is pretty good for such a long article. In essence, he was the delightful Raj/Rahul in real life, which explains why he was able to portray both so smoothly, according to another commenter.
According to a Reddit user, “Reading this made me realise that he doesn’t put his charm only when on camera or he has learned it through experience, he has always been like this and pretty much still talks like this to this day.” “Can I just say what a personality this dude has! I don’t care if he does more films or not; there’s something really special and uncommon about him,” a another admirer remarked. With the 1989 television series Fauji, Shah Rukh made his acting debut. He debuted in Bollywood in 1992 with the film Deewana.
Shah Rukh’s upcoming film, Jawan, which is being directed by Atlee, will be released internationally on September 7, 2023. Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions of the movie will be released in theatres. There will also be appearances by Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (special appearance), Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra.
Shah Rukh will also appear in Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, with Taapsee Pannu. The movie has yet to have its official release date announced.
