With Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) taking more than three months to declare the results of the winter semester examination, students of LLB (II, and final year) and five-year law course are irked that they would be missing out on opportunities for their higher education.
While the LLB and BSL-LLB exams were held between October 24 and November 3, 2018, students gathered at the office of SPPU sub-centre and raised the issue with centre coordinator Prashant Tope on Thursday.
“We are raising the issue with the examination department since then (December 17, 2018). But every time we ask them, they give some technical reason and ask us to wait,” said Shubham Kulkarni, LLB student, told an English daily.
Meanwhile, the SPPU authority assured that the results will come on the website by Saturday. “Pro-vice-chancellor C N S Umrani told me that the university authorities held a high-level meeting on the results issue on Thursday only. There was a technical issue, which has been almost resolved,” Prashant Tope, cordinator of SPPU sub-centre told media.
