NIA arrests Hizbul chief’s son Shakeel Ahmed in terror funding case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday arrested Pakistan’s Muzaffarabad-based Hizbul Mujahideen supreme commander Syed Salahuddin’s son, Syed Shakeel Ahmed, during a raid in Srinagar. Shakeel, who used to work as a laboratory technician in Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura, has been under the NIA scanner for his alleged involvement in a 2011 terror funding case.[Read More…]
