Sixth boy has been brought out of the Thai Tham Luang cave, where a football team and their coach have been incarcerated for more than two weeks.

It was the second rescue for the day. The boy blinked into the daylight at about 9pm AEST and is being treated on site by medics. Six other boys along with their coach are still deep within the tunnel complex.

The fifth boy was rescued and brought out at around 4:30 pm (7:30 pm AEST) and has now arrived at Chiang Rai hospital after being taken into a chopper from the cave rescue site.

The “Wild Boars” soccer team and their coach got trapped on June 23 when they set out to explore the vast cave complex after soccer practice, when a rainy season downpour drenched the area and flooded the tunnels.

British divers found the 13, huddled on a muddy bank in a partly flooded chamber several kilometers inside the complex, on Monday last week.
