The highly-anticipated trailer of Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Thalaivi’ is out on March 23. The trailer released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi showcases the journey of Kangana as J Jayalalithaa from being an actor to a revolutionary politician.
The film also stars Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, Bhagyasheree, Madhoo and Poorna in pivotal roles.
The trailer looks surreal as Kangana has left no stone unturned to justify the role of late Tamil politician. The trailer also give glimpses of her relationship with MG Ramachandran (MGR) played by Arvind Swami. With the guidance and love of MGR, the actor garnered a massive fan following. After MGR’s death, she showed how she can be an independent leader with her hard work and dedication.

The film is directed by A. L. Vijay and produced by Vibri Media in collaboration with Karma Media And Entertainment. Simultaneously shot in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages under the same title. The film is slated to release in the theatres on April 23, 2021.
Kangana recently won her fourth National Film Award for her fierce performance in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Panga. Kangana shared a video and thanked everyone for their love. She captioned the video as, “Words can’t express my feelings. Thank you so much.”
