TNEA Merit List 2026 Delayed: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) in Tamil Nadu, ha postponed the publication of the The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 merit list. It was earlier expected on June 29. According to the newest admission schedule, the TNEA 2026 rank list will be released on July 1, 2026 via the official TNEA portal.
Now the TNEA rank list is set to come out on July 1, 2026 instead of June 29 as it was first announced. This revised date has been put up on several admission portals as well. It also matches the extension related to online certificate verification for the eligible candidates.
The reason behind this delay is the extension of the certificate verification process. The authorities thought it would be better to give more time to candidates, specially those whose Class 12 board marks were revised. They needed to finish the verification steps before the final merit list is prepared.
