TNPSC Group 4 Results 2025: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission’s Group 4 exam for 2025 took place on July 12 and pulled in a huge crowd of 11.48 lakh candidates all fighting for just 3,935 posts. People are calling it one of the hardest exams in recent years. The results are going to be out soon, and the numbers show how tough the race really is only around 3.5 people will get selected for every 1,000 who wrote the paper.

Many who took the exam said more than half of the Tamil language section’s 100 questions were very hard and even went outside the given syllabus. 2. Click on the “Results” tab on the homepage.
3. Select “Group 4 Examination 2025 Results” from the list.
4. Enter your registration number and date of birth.
5. View, download, and print your result for reference.

‘Luck’ can make it up

A study by Harvard PhD Kunal Mangal says that in very competitive TNPSC exams, “luck” can make up as much as 12% of the differences in scores. With the way this year’s paper was set, even those scoring in the top range, like 160-170, might not be fully safe because the results could go either way.

At the same time, candidates who did not prepare much and just guessed answers probably won’t get much advantage. But for those stuck near the cut-off line, even one lucky guess could be the difference between getting the job or not.

Experts think the cut-off might still go higher for candidates who studied well, even though the paper was tricky.
