Massive Advance Booking Set the Stage for a Big Opening

Toxic had already built considerable momentum before its theatrical debut. Reports tracking advance sales suggested exceptionally strong ticket demand, with the film generating substantial business ahead of release. Pre-release reports placed its advance booking figures above ₹40 crore when blocked seats were included, while strong demand led to additional showtimes in some markets.

Mixed Reviews

Not everyone has reacted the same way yet. A lot of viewers like the film’s big visuals, the sets, the action, and Yash’s presence on screen. Still, some people have pointed at issues in the screenplay. A few also said that some parts of the movie feel close to what came with his earlier KGF film.

Even with these mixed thoughts, early box office results have stayed strong. The number of people who showed up on opening day hints that people are coming out out of curiosity and for the star power.
