Tral: Three killed, 20 injured in grenade attack

Three civilians were killed and over 20 were injured when an unidentified person hurled a grenade towards a police party in Tral of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. As per the locals, the grenade was hurled towards a police party stationed near a bus stand.

The injured have been rushed to a hospital in Srinagar for treatment. They have been identified as, Gh Nabi Parag, Iqbal Khan and Pinty Kour. The cops have rushed towards the spot after the attack took place.

Roads and Building Minister, Nayeem Akthar, was in Tral at the time of the attack. He had inaugurated a project in town and was on his way to inaugurating another one.

As of now, no terror outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.
