Twitterati backs Kartik Aaryan after Karan Johar blacklists actor from Dharma Productions

In a recent development, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions have blacklisted actor Kartik Aaryan and fired him from the film ‘Dostana 2’. The production has cited the ‘unprofessional behaviour’ of the actor to be the reason for this major development.

Dostana 2, which will be directed by Collin, is penned by Navjot Gulati, Sumit Aroraa, Rishabh Sharma, and D’Cunha.

According to the latest report by Bollywood Bubble, a source revealed to them that the production house decided to replace him because of lack of co-operation from the actor’s side and his agency. The star’s team was apparently not giving the shooting dates. And later his agency is said to have put forward the issue about creative differences in the script.

“Dharma has decided to replace Kartik Aaryan in Dostana 2 after a lot of discussions. The production house had been asking his agency for his dates for the shoots but there was no clear coordination on that end for months. After shooting for 20 days earlier, and a year and a half of sitting on with the original script, Kartik’s team is now claiming there have been creative differences with regards to the script. The production has hence decided to not put up with the chaos anymore and get another star to step in place of Kartik. While the actor has not been locked, the right replacement is being scouted,” informed the source to the portal.

As soon as the development came to light, Twitterati came in support of the ‘Luka Chupi’ actor. #KartikAaryan is trending on the microblogging site and his fans slammed Karan Johar for targeting talented actors. A section of users also compared Kartik with Sushant Singh Rajput.
