Caught in the vicious circle of unemployment, a Mumbai-based couple committed suicide on Friday evening. They were residents of Malad area, who ended their lives by hanging themselves from the ceiling of their house at around 8.30 pm.
They have been identified as Dhanraj (24) and Kajal (19). The bodies were taken into custody and have been sent for post-mortem.
The couple had got married recently. After marriage, Dhanraj lost his job and was in depression since then.
No suicide note has been recovered. However, the police have begun its probe in the case.
