UP Police rubbishes media reports of Jamaat members creating ruckus at COVID-19 quarantine centres

Saharanpur: Amidst coronavirus pandemic affecting so many lives in India, the death toll and the surge in cases has not been stopped. With infections almost crossing 3000 and deaths to reach 80, its a havoc. A lot of developments regarding hotspots of coronavirus have come into play. The Tablighi Jamaat conference has created quite a stir in the nation as a lot of positive cases of COVID-19 can be traced back to the gathering that took place in a mosque near Nizamuddin.

However, a new development has come to the story, a lot of allegations were imposed on people who attended Tablighi Jamaat gathering and then taken to quarantine centres were alleged of improper behaviour.

Now the UP police in Saharanpur has stated that the quarantine members have not created any ruckus, the allegations of asking for non-veg food and defecating in open is all false.
