UP Special TET 2026 Registration: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is closing the registration window for UP Special TET 2026 today, October 4. Candidates who still haven’t filled the form need to complete the process through the official website, upessc.up.gov.in. The notification was released on September 3 under Advertisement No. 03/2026 and online applications started on September 5.
The Special Teacher Eligibility Test is a state-level exam for eligible teachers and special educators at the primary and upper primary levels in government and aided schools in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates should make sure the application is fully submitted and the fee is paid before the deadline.

Candidates need to complete One Time Registration (OTR) before filling the main application form. Those who already have an OTR ID don’t need to register again and can use their old login details.
To apply, candidates should first open the official UPESSC website and complete OTR if it’s still pending. After logging in, they need to select the UP Special TET 2026 application link. The form will ask for personal details, educational information and other required details.
After entering the information, candidates have to upload the required documents and pay the application fee. The final step is to submit the form and download the confirmation page or application copy. It’s better to keep the payment receipt and submitted form safely for later use.
The fee depends on the candidate’s category. General, OBC and EWS candidates have to pay Rs 1,000. The fee for SC and ST candidates is Rs 500, while PwD candidates need to pay Rs 300. The same fee structure applies to the primary and upper primary levels.
UP Super TET 2026: Check Application Dates, Vacancy and Exam Date
The application deadline is October 4. Candidates shouldn’t treat the correction period as an extra registration chance because it is meant for fixing details in forms that have already been submitted.
The UP Special TET exam will take place on November 3, 2026. The admit card is scheduled to be released on November 1. The exam will be held in offline OMR mode. Both papers will have 150 questions for 150 marks and candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes. There will be no negative marking. The correction facility will be available on October 8. Candidates should check their application carefully and use the correction window if any permitted detail needs to be changed.
