Bank Holidays in February 2022 : The month of February is almost upon us. If you have bank-related tasks to do in February, it’s critical that you know when the banks will be closed in the following month.
According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) list, a total of 12 days of shuttered banks will be closed next month. These holidays, however, will not be available in all states. In such a circumstance, check the Bank Holidays List before leaving the house to attend to bank business.

All the banks including Corporation Bank, Indian Bank, IDBI Bank and Punjab and Sind Bank will remain closed on these bank holidays.
Both the second week of Saturday and the fourth week of Saturday are declared as a central government holiday.
Central Excise Day: In February, Central Excise Day will be celebrated on February 24. It holds a distinct significance in the list of festivals observed in India.
This day holds high importance as it marks the ratification of the Central & Excise Salt Act of 1944.
The day is not declared as a bank holiday in Delhi. Delhi, being the capital city of India is also a cultural hub and a center of cultural activities.
