Several retired bureaucrats and politicians whom the previous government appointed on various post as advisor to the government or chairman, vice-chairman, member in various corporations, boards and committees were removed from their posts with an immediate effect in Uttar Pradesh.
The action was taken just the days after the Yogi Adityanath government took charge.
Actually, the Yogi government cleared a resolution to this effect that denudes all such officers from the post and politicians of ‘lal batti’ (red beacon) on Monday.
A letter to the agriculture production commissioner, industrial development commissioner, social welfare commissioner and all principal secretaries/secretaries, chief secretary Rahul Bhatnagar was issued.
It says the orders in this concern be complied with quickly.
