Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday addressed the countrymen on the occasion of 71st Independence Day. He tweeted a video of his address, which included excerpts from his speech. Interestingly, in the video, union minister, Smriti Irani was seen sleeping.
On the other hand, it may be possible that she has closed her eyes and listening carefully to the PM’s speech, but it appears that she has slept while the speech was going on.
Besides Irani, former Prime Minister, H D Deve Gowda is also seen taking a nap while PM Modi was delivering the Independence day speech.
PM Modi spoke on diverse issues like corruption, triple talaq, demonetisation, the creation of ‘New India’, Kashmir issue and Gorakhpur tragedy among many others.
