Punjab Woman Delivered 6 Babies: A clip that claims a woman in Punjab gave birth to six babies, with four boys and two girls went around on social media fast. People posted comments and sent wishes. Still, the story looks shaky. Some reports say the images were made by AI and may include footage from other places.
In the video, women leave a hospital labour room while holding newborns. After that, they stand together for a photo. Even with all the attention, many viewers doubt the clip is real. They say the way it is presented does not add up, and they question where the video came from.
An NDTV report dated October 9, 2026, says the viral claim is not likely to be true. Some social media users pointed out that the visuals look like AI work. Others said parts of different videos might have been stitched together to make one clear story.
“This photo has gone viral on the internet earlier with various claims, like the same photo was used when a woman (Komal) in Gujranwala, Pakistan gave birth to 5 children,” a user said in the comment.
Another user raised doubt with this comment: “Imagine the size of this woman’s stomach region carrying 6 babies at once, with an average baby weight of 2.5 kgs approximate. That’s 15 kgs of distribution of bones/muscles & blood just in stomach region.”
There is also more confusion. The same set of images, or very close versions of them, have shown up before with other claims. One post linked the birth to a woman named Komal from Gujranwala, Pakistan.
Because of that, it is hard to know what the original source was. It also makes it unclear whether this is a real medical event at all.
As of the latest available reporting, there is no reliable confirmation that a woman in Punjab, India, gave birth to six babies in the incident shown in the viral video.

The Punjab post that went viral is still not proven. Still, a separate report says sextuplets were born in Rawalpindi in April 2024.
Geo News and Dunya News said a woman named Zeenat Bibi delivered six babies at a hospital. The report stated there were four boys and two girls. After the birth, doctors and staff provided care to the mother and the newborns.
In 2020, a 23-year-old woman gave birth to sextuplets in Madhya Pradesh’s Sheopur district, but two of them died shortly after. The babies were born prematurely and underweight over a span of 35 minutes, news agency PTI quoted Sheopur District Hospital Civil Surgeon Dr RB Goyal as saying.
