War 2 Song ‘Aavan Jaawan’: War 2 drops Aavan Jaawan music video on July 31, 2025 (right on Kiara Advani’s birthday), and you’d think fans would be obsessing over the song. But Reddit immediately zeroed in on something wild: Kiara’s looking almost too much like Deepika Padukone. Like, not just a passing “oh she’s pretty,” but full-on “wait, is that Deepika?” energy. The r/BollyBlindsNGossip crowd went nuts, spamming side-by-side stills of Kiara in that bikini scene with Hrithik and basically dubbing her “Deepika lite.”
War 2 Song ‘Aavan Jaawan’: Reddit Reacts
One user just dropped:
“Deepika?”
Another chimed in with:
“Deepika plus Aditi Rao Hydari.”
And then someone took the cake:
“Deepika lite version.”
So yeah, it wasn’t exactly subtle. People are seeing Deepika’s vibes all over Kiara’s look and honestly, the styling in that song makes it kinda hard to unsee.
Reddit kept digging up old threads comparing the two actresses. Some people even accused Kiara of “trying very hard to take Deepika’s place.”
Aavan Jaawan is basically a beachy, sun-drenched fever dream shot somewhere in Italy straight outta Bollywood’s “hot people on vacation” playbook. The whole thing’s giving major Pathaan/Fighter flashbacks (Deepika’s not-so-humble territory), and with Kiara’s abs, the golden hour lighting, and those “I’m here to seduce the camera” moves, the Deepika déjà vu is real.
But wait, that’s not all! The song’s also catching heat for its “TikTokiya steps” (brutal) and what some are calling “mama-bhanji core” chemistry between Hrithik and Kiara. Basically, people thought they looked more like distant relatives forced to dance at a wedding than a sizzling movie couple.
War 2 Trailer Out: What Important role is Kiara Advani playing in Hrithik-Jr NTR starrer?
Quick rundown in case you missed it: War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, hits theaters August 14, 2025. Hrithik’s back as Kabir, Kiara joins the fray, and Jr. NTR rolls in with the Telugu superstar swagger. There’s international spy drama, massive set-pieces, and Aavan Jaawan is just the tip of the hype iceberg.
Reddit’s mini-meltdown over Kiara doing her best Deepika impression just proves how iconic Deepika’s look is in Bollywood. Kiara’s got her own thing, sure, but in this song? The Padukone vibes are LOUD. Whether it’s a sneaky tribute or just Bollywood recycling its own glam formula, one thing’s for sure: these beauty standards aren’t going anywhere, and the internet’s not shutting up about it anytime soon.
