WATCH: BJP’s Sambit Patra sings ‘’Tum Mile Dil Khile’ to connect with Telugu population in Puri

The third phase of Lok Sabha elections is all set to happen on April 23 and a total of 115 constituencies are going to polls. The campaigning is going on full swing. From massive rallies and roadshows, the candidates are doing their every bit to reach out to the voters and attract them with their unique promises.

In one of a bit to attract or to connect with voters, BJP’s candidate Sambit Patra from Puri constituency sang songs in Telugu to attract with Telugu population in the constituency.

He sang two popular songs to win over the crowd. One was a Telugu number Bangaru Kodipetta and a romantic number “Tum Mile DIl Khile”

The Puri Lok Sabha constituency will witness a contest between spokespersons of parties. While Sambit Patra is BJP’s national spokesperson, Congress has fielded its Odisha unit media cell chairman Satyaprakash Nayak. BJD’s sitting MP Pinaki Mishra, who’s seeking re-election this time- is also the spokesman of the regional party.

Recently, Sambit Patra was in headlines after he was seen holding an idol of Lord Jagannath during a campaign rally in the state. A complaint was filed with the Election Commission against him for violating the Model Code of Conduct.
