(Watch): Israeli send note to PM Modi ahead of visit, says ‘Aapki yatra shubh ho’

Israeli citizens have sent their best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Hindi language, days before his visit to the country. Israel will welcome PM Modi on July 4 and he will be there till July 6. The visit is planned on the occasion of marking 25 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

“Namaste Modi Ji! Aapki yatra shubh ho – mangalmay ho,” says a citizen in a video message. Another citizen says “Israel mein aapka swagat hai.”

Ambassador of Israel to India, Daniel Carmon has also recorded his message in Hindi. A short clip of message was shared on the official Twitter handle of “Israel in India.”

Replying to their wishes, Modi thanked them.

India and Israel will enhance their ties to a strategic partnership during PM Modi’s visit. Modi will be received by his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu. The Israeli PM will also host a dinner for Indian PM on July 4.
