A video of the chaotic situation has emerged from Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh area where chief minister Yogi Adityanath dispersed free dustbins among people in a bid to save the environment on the occasion of World Environment day.
Though the decision of distributing dustbin can be seen as a good move, what followed after the CM left the space, shows mere an obsession we Indians have for freebies.
The video was shot by news agency ANI. It shows people from young men, older men, and middle-aged women to children, everyone is fighting over a pile of free plastic dustbins. The atmosphere was quite chaotic and tensed at that moment with stronger people seen pushing off the elder and weaker ones. No authorities can be seen around at the scene.
