How much SNAP Money can you get in September?

The maximum SNAP amounts for fiscal year 2026 are still in effect through September 30, 2026. In the 48 contiguous states and Washington, D.C., a one-person household can receive a maximum of $298 per month. The maximum is $546 for two people, $785 for three people and $994 for four people. Larger households can receive higher maximum amounts.

These are only the highest possible amounts. Not every household will receive the maximum. SNAP benefits are based on household size, net income and allowable deductions.
