The most-awaited reality show Bigg Boss OTT has arrived at your doorsteps, and finally, the complete list of contestants is also out. As a television actress and social media influencer, Urfi Javed is confirmed to be on the Bigg Boss OTT house, here is everything you need to know about her.
Urfi Javed made her television debut in 2016 through Sony TV’s Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, in which she put up an impressive performance as Avni. Later, she also appeared in TV serials like Chandra Nandini (Star Plus), Meri Durga (Star Plus), Saat Phero Ki Hera Pherie (SAB TV), Bepannaah (Colors TV), and Jiji Maa (Star Bharat). She was also seen in the hugely popular serial of Star Plus, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
In an interview with a leading publication last year, the actress, who hails from a conservative family, shared how she struggled to make a name for herself. Urfi was thrashed by her father after someone uploaded her picture on a porn website; she then went away from her house and worked hard with her siblings for a living. She also shared how her passion for acting led her to take it up as a career after getting a role in the sitcom Tedi Medi Family.
Besides her on-screen fame, Urfi is also a star on social media – she has 1.4M followers on Instagram, apart from a huge number of fans on Facebook as well. The actress keeps updating her life events and pictures with her followers and often interacts with them.
