Kate Osamor, who gave up on her post at Jeremy Corbyn’s Shadow Cabinet 2 days back amidst revelations of multiple scandals, has been banned by the free online encyclopaedia, Wikipedia.

The politician had repeatedly attempted to make edits on her page in order to remove the references to her plagiarising Barack Obama’s acceptance speech. She was accused of copying the speech word-to-word at her re-election victory address in last year’s General Election.

Reportedly, Osamor made changes with a pseudonym, Minights1. The politician received a warning from Wikipedia for making abrupt changes to the content, when she continued editing the page the site banned her.

On her ban, the MP warned Wikipedia, “If I see it added again I will have no choice but to sue the editor and the platform that allowed it to be posted.”

Reportedly, for making legal threats Wikipedia has “blocked her indefinitely” from editing.
