A 39-year-old woman was found hanging at her house in Hyderabad, less than a month since her family returned to the city from the US. Rashmi Sharma’s husband Sanjay and their two sons had gone out to get a laptop repaired. Reportedly, they found her dead when they returned to their home in Alkapur Colony in Puppalaguda.

Recently, the family had shifted to Hyderabad from the US as Sanjay could not manage to get a visa extension after working for eight years in the US. He faced issues in extending visa with the Bank of America owing to the new H-1B visa rules.

Reportedly, the family was forced to sell their assets including property, furniture in the US for the cheapest price than what they would have liked. As per reports, Rashmi, who was from Uttar Pradesh, was not happy about shifting back to India.

The police have filed a case of suspicious death. There was no sign of any major differences between the couple, they said. Police believe that she might have been depressed about having to move back.
