Jharkhand: XLRI student dies after fall, further investigation underway

Jamshedpur: A student from country’s premier management institute, XLRI was found dead under suspicious circumstances. The deceased’s name is Shashwat Dixit and he belongs to Mumbai. He was pursuing his second year at the college.

Doctors declared him dead after he was taken to the Tata Hospital.

According to Sreenivas, Officer-in-charge, Bistupur Police Station, Dixit was on his way from one hostel block to another, when he accidently fell in morning.

CCTV footages suggest that the fall was an accidental one, though his body has been sent for post-mortem and further probe is underway.
