Although the TV shootings have been resumed after the lockdown, due to coronavirus cases many TV shows shootings were interrupted. Now the latest we hear is that Star Plus’s famous show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s shoot has been halted.
The show, starring Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan as the main leads, was being shot at the Filmcity set till 10 this morning. However, the shoot has been halted and as per an entertainment portal report, the actor Sachin Tyagi, who essays the role of Manish Goenka, Kartik’s father and a few crew members on the set have tested positive for COVID-19.
A source informs SpotboyE.com exclusively, “Sachin Tyagi was running a fever and hence he got himself tested. His results came a day before, after which a few other crew members who also felt symptoms, got themselves tested. Some of them came negative and some positive. As of now, more members of the show including actors have got their tests done and now they are waiting for the results.”
An entertainment portal tried contacting producer Rajan Shahi but could get through until the story went up. Meanwhile, Sachin told them on call, “I can’t say anything on this and request you to get in touch with the productions.”
For those unaware, the star cast of the show recently welcomed Ganpati Bappa on their sets along with Producer Shahi.
