Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that customers can now buy a Tesla car through Bitcoin.
Must took to Twitter to announce this.
Musk said in a tweet early Wednesday UTC time that “You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin.”
His Tweet came shortly after Twitter users started to notice the support for bitcoin as payment option in Tesla’s U.S. stores for all models of its electronic cars.
Tesla’s official pages and was able to see the bitcoin payment support at least in its U.S. store but as of press time, it appears the option was removed.
