A 24-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly abducting and raping a 15-year-old girl in this Uttar Pradesh district, police said on Wednesday.
The minor had been kidnapped by the accused, Amarjit Pathak, on Thursday night, they said, adding that her brother lodged a missing complaint on Saturday.
She somehow managed to dodge Pathak and return home on Saturday, following which she gave her statement against the accused to the police, officials said.
The man was nabbed from Bullapur village of Dubhar on Tuesday, the police said.
